Growing up in Holland, Michigan, I fell in love with the state's natural beauty and the burgeoning tech scene. I’ve spent the last two decades building a career in software development, product innovation, and executive leadership. I’m driven by a desire to create technology that empowers people and communities, and I’m committed to fostering a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.

Professional Journey

My journey might surprise some, I do not have a traditional computer science background. I started writing code at a young age, and started my career as a self-taught developer. I went from doing upholstery in a factory to building ERP and eCommerce software for the manufacturer I worked for. Over time, I honed my skills through hands-on experience, mentorship, and continuous learning. Today, I’m proud to lead teams that bring cutting-edge solutions to life and drive innovation in the tech industry.

From building my first software tools to leading teams that bring cutting-edge solutions to life, I’ve always approached challenges with curiosity and drive. My career has spanned roles in software development, product innovation, and executive leadership. Along the way, I’ve:

When I’m not building software or leading teams, I’m a proud dad to MJ and Rylee, who inspire me every day with their resilience and creativity. Supporting them through their lives has been the primary motivation for my career and personal growth.

I’m also passionate about mentoring young technologists, exploring the outdoors, and giving back to my community. I believe that by sharing knowledge and experiences, we can create a more inclusive and innovative world for future generations.
